Personally I like messing with numbers in my head, traveling on a bus everyday and you know you would never get the chance to get a ticket with the same number twice. So each time I get one I mess with a funny calculation in my head to find some relation between the simple series of digits in front of me.

Now a miracle number, thats just a question that popped in, so I asked around with all the free messaging my service provider gave me, “Hey, what is the first thing that comes to mind when I ask you, What is your miracle number??”

So I did get replies from a few of all, some said.“I dont believe in lucky numbers or anything man!” Another said “POTATOES!!!!!”

Well, the honest truth was I was never in search of a lucky number, Just the thought that gets processed when they hear of the words “Miracle Number”. Guess many a number mistook it to be their lucky number and I got pretty stereotype replies, 3,7,9.

Honestly got to say lots of my friends had held on 3. One friend said the best thing associated in her life was based on three, because she believed being in a group of three always clicked for her and the only guess is she’s talking of her two other best friends. Another friend who mentioned the number three had the wonderful logical explanation that did put a smile on my face, she said all things that happened in her life the third time seemed to always have worked for her. The T-Rule.

A friend said four, and when asked why, cause the way it is curved makes it really nice!!! Fancy that, i never thought 4 looked really catchy to the eye to be called a miracle number.

And again replies had come in, some held on to seven some others to nine, they called it instinct, could not give a reason on why they chose them. And others had simply defined to them. Guess the miracle number is the feel good, or more likely the feel BEST factor.

I’d say the most different answer I heard was, “Would be my girlfriends phone number man!! its the one number where miracles happen!! She can take me to heaven and send me to hell under the same five minutes!!” True it is that loved ones would be the miracle numbers in our lives.

Lets say miracle numbers are those numbers that can put a smile on your face. The number that adds up to give you the confidence to take an examination or make the day better. A number that makes you remember the best days in your life, your best friend, your best moment in time, you can call it the reason you can score more baskets is because you wore your miracle 27 jersey for the match that one day. Or it may be just that special number rings on your phone to prove to you that little miracles do exist in our lives everyday.

But its easy to cuddle in the sheet,
away from the cold in the warmth and the heat.
So keep a promise today, that tomorrow
will be the day when, The world will be mine!

Yet what does not meet the eye are the little things that never shine. How the little thing like the nail that holds the painting in place is forgotten. How once its struck away into the wall carefully can never be thought of again. Ever wondered how the buttons on your shirt that holds it together is forgotten till its broken.

That’s the truth behind little things, they tend to be left under appreciated till it fails to act its duty. True that it is made a fuss over when it becomes faulty, just imagine a broken zipper, embarrassing as it is, its one little thing that wont be forgotten! Such are the little things in life.

Take a look into life and we see how most things that happen around us happen to this very same rule. For short lets call it the T-Rule. The T-rule can also be viewed as simply trial and error. Mistake are not to made to find out the true answer on the third time, but simply call it chance, luck or fate or just good wishes thrown to us, when we venture out for something we were declined from achieving that the Third time is the charm..

The origin of this term is a question, personally I think it was thrown at some man trying to woo a girl out there and failed the first two times. Think about it and you can see how the vicious circle of love can go about in accordance to the T-Rule, where you have love – breakup – Rebound – breakup – And “T-Rule”. Well could be followed shortly by another break up too if you are not careful enough.

Have you noticed how many baseball movies follow the T-Rule, strike one tension builds, strike two, the crowd goes silent, and swoosh the ball comes in slow motion and the batter strikes a home run!! And everyone lives happily ever after, not only do baseball or sport movies show this but so do the action one and hand to hand combat like in our all time favorite movie ROCKY. The trumpets go berserk as the T-Rule dominates as Rocky maneuvers and throws out the lower jab, upper jab, right hook, left hook and KNOCKOUT!!!

Walk around your day and see how many times the T-Rule has worked for you. Whether it’s you’ve woken up late two times in a row, missed that bus you wanted, or even did not do too well in at work or play. Unconsciously the T-Rule must have worked out! The next time you do something, something failed at, declined before, passed away because of uncertainty, pause for a second and see if it’s the T-Rule at play. If it is, smile people because you’re going to hit that home run now, for it’s the third time and it is going to be The Charm!

Google up nirvana today and you would come across the path of our rock star. The definition thus muffled again, its true meaning a question to which people give vague answers. Some can say nirvana is eternal peace, harmony with one’s inner self. A sense of freedom from the existence of our life pain and suffering. From our needs perceived by human senses.

Finding nirvana, was a question I could not answer quick. Can make one wonder if it is a series of experiences in our life that gives us the knowledge and understanding to the choices we make? Or is it more? Could nirvana be a state of redemption from the mistake we make in life. Nirvana is a state of the mind when we make up everyday, where we feel free from hunger, anger, anguish. State of tranquility where need does not surpass greed.

Nirvana is a search of a lifetime to some and to others they find it more simple when they stop searching and believe in acceptance, where it found by some simply within themselves by a series of simple actions. A smile for the day, a desire to help an individual in need, the simple steps taken towards doing work perfectly, or the need for perfection without worry of reward or outcome.

Ask yourself if you have peace? If not why? Finding it does not take a lifetime of meditation, nor acts of religion or faith. Just simple steps towards apprehension that the individual we may be need not be tested during the existence of our lives.

Welcome to Parking Abused-101 (one-o-one)

Lets take a classic, case. no 1. FAR FAR AWAY
You stop right in front of the place you would like to shop from to just see that the closest parking is a kilometer away, and there is downpour happening. So what do you, drive it all the way down park the car skip puddles, pools and splashing water from the passing vehicles to walk into the store drenched wet and cold!

Case 2.WHO LICENSED THEM TO DRIVE
Case two is not about finding parking out there, its about all those smart people who make us wonder, WHO LICENSED THEM TO DRIVE!!! Drive across to see that they have parked into two slots!! And all i can pray is “I HOPE YOU PAID FOR BOTH THOSE LOTS DUDE!!!” so the typical man out there for a 5 Rs parking does an average of 7.5 Rs or even smart ones do the 10 Rs parking letting their vehicles rest in the abundance of the earth below their tires!

Case 3.THE WILD HOGS.
yes, this is to all the bikers out there in India who would like to cram their little two wheelers into every gap they get, and man, got to hand it to them for being more co-operative in working with the fraternity of bikers into making the lives of car drivers a little above the difficult scale for parking.

Case 4.I SAW THAT FIRST!!!
Yes, parking spotted!!! Yippee, someones just pulled out, but we need to make one quick circle to come back to it! we go, go, go! Race across the tar, grit and stone feel like the king of the road to come back to our empty spot to see another car pull into it, with the driver having put on the biggest smile in the world. “SIGH, I SAW THAT FIRST!!”

Case no.5 WHAT SIGN BOARD?!
I bet everyone out there in their driving life on the streets have parked under a big fat sign board that says, “NO PARKING”. Is it mandatory that we need to park under this board, i think it says in the driver – 101 handbook that it is! Must be clause in there that says, “If you’ve got a bad day, and you want to feel SUPER COOL, Park under this sign board and walk away from the car, throw your hands in the air and say WOOHOO!!, I’M A BAD A**”

No there aint 101 reasons out here and this is not the ten commandments to Parking!! Couldn’t even make it to ten! But still parking out there is never stopping us from taking our big cars, pumping up some music or soothing it down to drive in the sun, wind or the rain. Cheers.. Drive on!!

What is freedom? Some answer freedom is walking in the rain, getting the chance to run away from a lecture, escaping the inevitable, the feel of adrenaline rush through your veins, a sense of achievement. And yet again the question arises is freedom defined by the amendments that make our country? The reason we find integrity and unity in a diverse culture filled with color, where every person has the right to speech, every child the right to education, the protection of right and personal liberty, where it ensures every body shall be safeguarded by the constitution.

A walk on the streets can prove you pain, where freedom is a masquerade, just a name which envelopes the hunger, poverty and illiteracy. Where is my Free India? you can ask yourself, where is the oath that our father did make, where every character is one’s brother and sister functioning together a family, as one. Freedom now is the choice to ignore others, the reason people choose to walk away from what the eye beholds than to take action to make change. Where is my Free India? Is it now just a lesson in history about the revolt and struggles that were made by our forefathers to achieve a dream? Is it the content written into books to teach the generations of tomorrow?

Where has this dream gone? Does not the nature of the need for change revoke the mind of the common man?

My Free India exists in the hearts, in the minds of those who still revolt, asking for a change. Where the action goes without saying and the smallest move like a butterfly effect ignites the thought and lights the way to lead on to a powerful tomorrow. Free India is to where we step everyday. Free India would be a dream that we achieve, where our nation strides forward with our heads held high. In our Free India everything even little will be our challenge, every problem solved a steady pace forward.

Tomorrow Free India will not be defined by the stories in books, or the legends of yesterday, but by the character of its people walking steadily as one family, one nation, one power, towards our common dream, Freedom.

It is that action that sparks the change in our lives to become the light that we suppress in ourselves, that which may break the boundary of security we build as walls in our hearts and minds.
